Week 7 - Facebook Likes

Pages followed by His and Hers Real Estate Investments

  1. EZ Home Improvement Group
  2. San Diego Moving Company
  3. NorthStar Moving Company
  4. The Home Depot – San Diego Page
  5. Big Box Storage – San Diego Page
  6. Central San Diego Homes & Lifestyle
  7. San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles

While searching Facebook business pages, my strategy was to find companies that were focused on homeownership. Having the understanding that my company deals with real estate investment, I avoided pages that were real estate focused as it might pose a conflict with my business. First, I decided to follow moving and storage companies based out of San Diego because of the potential it might bring with finding clients looking to downsize and sale their home. I then decided to follow San Diego Home Gardens, San Diego Homes and Lifestyle, Lowes and EZ Home because, as previously stated, these companies are all focused around homeowner ship. Although I may not find my ideal client from this list per say, the people who follow these types of companies may be my connections to their friends or neighbors who is looking to sale their home. To market effectively with this feature, I would first start reading each companies blog post and comments. I would also reach out to each company and ask if I could market on their site, and give a finder’s fee from each deal I’m able to make through their list of followers.

Week 10 A - Appealing To Peoples Emotions

When writing a blog, in the beginning, you are basically faceless. By letting people know there is an actual person behind the words on the screen can spark a connection with you and the customer. Ultimately, adding human interest to your blog allows your readers to connect with you and your business in a more personal and relatable way. For me, reading a blog post that is similar to a personal life experience draws me in to read more. I am also emotionally connected with the writer and become more engaged with their content. Effective human-interest blogs can result in your company differentiating itself from their competition. When a human-interest post is well written, it will captivate their audience, and through its uniqueness, produce a bigger fan base and consumer interaction. A human-interest post may be less effective if you are guest blogging for a company. Especially if you are writing from the standpoint of your own personality while disregarding the company’s

Week 3 A

Have you ever experienced difficulty communicating with a business? With an e-commerce type of business, no. I’ve been really lucky with online purchases. I tend to buy my online goods from stores with high reviews or have a good rating with the BBB board. Any shipping issues that I have encountered in the past, or wrong product received type issues are always handled in a timely and professional manner. Does social media make it easier to get noticed or get your problem solved? Yes, social media makes it easier for companies to see your complaint or praise and respond accordingly. Like once when I had a really bad experience at a Restaurant and posted said experience on Yelp. The restaurant management team replied to me personally with an apology and offered a free dine-in coupon for my next visit. Since social media is extremely popular with everyday people brands with a good marketing team should use social media to address any positive or negative reviews about their compa

Week1A: My Template

When it comes to branding one’s company and or blog, having a correct color scheme is extremely important. Companies like McDonalds and In-N-Out strategically picked a bold rich red and cheerful bright yellow for their companies logo for a reason. “In a study titled “ Impact of color on marketing ,” researchers found that up to 90% of snap judgments made about products can be based on color alone, depending on the product" . So while reviewing the many different templates the website "Blogger"  had to offer, I decided to first research which colors are best for a Real Estate Investment Blog/website, and then build from there.. Through my research, I discovered that the color blue is often associated with trust and dependability . Additionally, the color green is linked to nurturing and education.  Since the main goals with my blog are to generate leads to my primary website, be seen as a legitimate Real Estate Investment company, and be viewed as an extremely knowl
