Write a short analysis of their use of social media - Are these businesses using their social media well? Do they use some more than others?

None of the 5 sites stated above are using social media well, and some not at all. In general, all 5 sites are in need of help with their digital marketing campaign.

After analyzing each of the 5 businesses, write several paragraphs explaining what you discovered collectively from this exploration.

Using social media to scale your business is truly an art form. Some businesses are amazing with it. Many companies are able to increase their brand awareness as well as their consumer base, with social media, at a fraction of the cost of traditional marketing. While others fall below the waistline and generate zero traction in their business. I even seen some businesses lose money and customers due to their inability to market themselves effectively on social media.

What They Did Right

The five businesses I will be discussing are Finally Sold, Paid Cash for Houses, We Buy Houses in the USA, Home Sold In 7 and Reef Investment Groups. These companies were selected because they appeared on the top google search results. What all of these companies were able to do effectively was add SEO to their website to make them visible to potential clients. Having a strong SEO platform is also one of the key ingredients of an effective digital marketing campaign. Additionally, what these companies also have in common are detailed content on their website. Each site gave their customer a better understanding of who they are, and what they have to offer. Collectively, each company digital marketing campaign, with the exception of Reef Investment Groups, are not effectively using social media to market their business.

What They Did Wrong

As mentioned in the above analysis, I felt that as a whole, all five companies could improve on their digital marketing campaign. Although Reef Investment Groups does not have any social media presence, what they did do effectively was allow users to share their websites on multiple social media platforms. Giving your customers the ability to share your content is extremely effective in brand awareness. The company Finally Sold is present on social media , but they are not consistently posting on their chosen platforms. While researching Finally Sold I noticed that before their latest post in 2018, the last time social media was used to promote their business was between 2014 – 2016. There were two companies that had zero links on social media, which are Paid Cash for House and We Buy Houses in the USA. The company Home Sold in 7 did have social media links on their website, but the links did not direct you to their personal page. Rather it took you straight to the social media site itself.

Improvement Tips

The company Finally Sold could improve their social media campaign by being more consistent with their postings. For example, with Facebook, they have a strong following of 550 people. Through consistency, they could easily scale their following to 1000 people, which would be 1000 eyes that knows what they do and could recommend their service to friends and family. The other four sites should look into the effectiveness of social media marketing. Once I get my business up and running, I would start with creating weekly vlogs on YouTube to generate a following. I would also use Facebook marketing to promote my business and daily blogs/vlogs. Through platforms like Facebook and Twitter I would show how much I care about my clients needs engage with my followers regularly.

Week 3 A

Have you ever experienced difficulty communicating with a business? With an e-commerce type of business, no. I’ve been really lucky with online purchases. I tend to buy my online goods from stores with high reviews or have a good rating with the BBB board. Any shipping issues that I have encountered in the past, or wrong product received type issues are always handled in a timely and professional manner. Does social media make it easier to get noticed or get your problem solved? Yes, social media makes it easier for companies to see your complaint or praise and respond accordingly. Like once when I had a really bad experience at a Restaurant and posted said experience on Yelp. The restaurant management team replied to me personally with an apology and offered a free dine-in coupon for my next visit. Since social media is extremely popular with everyday people brands with a good marketing team should use social media to address any positive or negative reviews about their compa

Week 10 A - Appealing To Peoples Emotions

When writing a blog, in the beginning, you are basically faceless. By letting people know there is an actual person behind the words on the screen can spark a connection with you and the customer. Ultimately, adding human interest to your blog allows your readers to connect with you and your business in a more personal and relatable way. For me, reading a blog post that is similar to a personal life experience draws me in to read more. I am also emotionally connected with the writer and become more engaged with their content. Effective human-interest blogs can result in your company differentiating itself from their competition. When a human-interest post is well written, it will captivate their audience, and through its uniqueness, produce a bigger fan base and consumer interaction. A human-interest post may be less effective if you are guest blogging for a company. Especially if you are writing from the standpoint of your own personality while disregarding the company’s

Week1A: My Template

When it comes to branding one’s company and or blog, having a correct color scheme is extremely important. Companies like McDonalds and In-N-Out strategically picked a bold rich red and cheerful bright yellow for their companies logo for a reason. “In a study titled “ Impact of color on marketing ,” researchers found that up to 90% of snap judgments made about products can be based on color alone, depending on the product" . So while reviewing the many different templates the website "Blogger"  had to offer, I decided to first research which colors are best for a Real Estate Investment Blog/website, and then build from there.. Through my research, I discovered that the color blue is often associated with trust and dependability . Additionally, the color green is linked to nurturing and education.  Since the main goals with my blog are to generate leads to my primary website, be seen as a legitimate Real Estate Investment company, and be viewed as an extremely knowl
